I have taught and continue to teach a variety of courses at Worcester Polytechnic Institute:
BUS 631 – Research Methods (PhD) A first-year course introducing PhD students to the nature, scope, and purpose of research and research methodologies.
OIE 542/1 – Risk Management and Decision Making (Graduate) Applies methods from decision analysis to a broad set of applications in operations risk management and design, including quality assurance, supply chains, information security, environmental management, projects, and new product development.
OIE 3510 – Stochastic Models (Undergraduate) Covers probabilistic models and decision-making under risk, including Markov chains, Poisson processes, and queuing theory, and their applications in manufacturing and service systems.
OIE 3460 – Simulation Modeling and Analysis (Undergraduate) Covers the theory and application of discrete-event simulation.
BUS 2081 – Introduction to Prescriptive Analytics (Undergraduate) An introduction to prescriptive analytics, which involves the application of mathematical and computational sciences such as linear optimization and simulation.
BUS 2080 – Data Analysis for Decision Making (Undergraduate) Introduces students to the concepts and methods for analyzing data to support business decision-making.
OIE 2500 – Management Science (Undergraduate) A foundational course introducing students to mathematical modeling, linear programming, and optimization techniques used to solve complex, deterministic operational and business problems. (Note: this course in its current form is no longer offered at WPI.)
